WHAT IS A MAILING LIST?

A mailing list, or perhaps a better term for it would be 'discussion list', is a group of people that allows people to send email to each other easily
and mailing lists have been around since the beginning of the Internet. Members of a mailing list give advice, get advice, share experiences, etc. to create a virtual community.
Instead of sending email to a group of people, subscribers of a mailing list can send their email to a central email address, which will then automatically send the message to everyone else on that list.
If you have a prefix in the subjet line of a message, such as [TurkishKids] it means it's from the group. The list is like a big message board that allows people to post messages that other people may want to read about. People that are on the list will send in questions, thoughts, etc. and you as a subscriber should feel free to reply to the e-mail and post your comments to that message.

This group is not affiliated with any school, organisation, association, party. It's a non-profit group, voluntarily moderated by an educator taking his master at Ashland University.
